Jacob Shrum is a composer and orchestrator living and working in the Los Angeles area. His work with the Tutti Music Partners team has included video game projects such as Santa Monica Studio’s God of War Ragnarök (and it’s DLC Valhalla), Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2, as well as Kojima Production’s Death Stranding, as well as titles in television and film including Starz’s Outlander, Netflix’s Bridgerton, Legendary & Warner Bros. Godzilla x Kong series, and George Miller’s Mad Max Saga: Furiosa.
In 2022, Jacob composed the soundtrack for Craftshop Works’ Mad Streets video game, and is attached to Craftshop’s next project Into the Labyrinth.
In 2017 Jacob began a large-scale arrangement of Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata’s 1997 (1998 in North America) Final Fantasy Tactics soundtrack. Finally finished in 2021, the fully arranged soundtrack now has over 1 million views collectively on YouTube.
Jacob has a Bachelor’s in Music Composition from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in Bloomington, as well as a Master’s in Film Scoring from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
